RedMuse - Autonomous pentesting, built for Muse.ai.

License: MIT
Engine: Muse.ai
Docker: none
LLM key: none

Autonomous pentesting, built for Muse.ai, Meta's personal AI agent.
No Docker, no LLM key, no separate engine. Muse is the engine: an
orchestrator plus specialist agents run recon, exploitation,
proof-of-concept validation, fixing, and reporting against targets
you own or are authorized to test.

Inspired by the architecture of Strix
(agent graph, skill packs, sandbox runtime, SARIF-style reporting),
rebuilt from scratch as skills and playbooks that anyone with Muse.ai can
install and run. Skill content here is original writing. Strix itself
is Apache-2.0, and its methodology topics (OWASP Top 10, API Top 10,
IDOR, SSRF, and friends) are credited in docs/ARCHITECTURE.md.

Quick start

In Muse.ai: no terminal needed

You do not clone anything. Ask Muse to install the pack, and it
fetches the skills from the repo. Paste this, replacing the
target with your own:

Install the RedMuse skill pack from https://github.com/reblox01/RedMuse
and run a quick scan of https://staging.example.com.
I own this target and authorize active testing on it.
Start with the authorization gate, then run the phases and write
the report.

Same install, other jobs:

Install the RedMuse skill pack from https://github.com/reblox01/RedMuse
and run a dev-audit of my code against my localhost staging copy.
Code audit first, then a live proof for each finding, then fix
and retest.
Install the RedMuse skill pack from https://github.com/reblox01/RedMuse
and fix the open findings in redmuse-runs/<run-name>/, one finding
at a time, retesting each original proof before closing it.

No active test runs without the gate: the orchestrator records
target, scope, and authorization first.

On your own PC: terminal install

Only for local setups with a terminal and a workspace folder,

CodexBar adds Muse Code usage tracking★

CodexBar learned a few new tricks in the last few weeks! TypeSafe, Nous Portal, Muse Code, CodeRabbit, Replicate, HuggingFace, Pi, Helmcode, v0, Charm Hyper, GitKraken AI, Bifrost My ambitions for this app REALLY outgrew the app name. (Oh and these keychain alerts are no more)

Custom terminal built with a Muse★

A cool thing about @Muse is that every Muse runs on its own Linux machine. So you and your Muse can do normal Linux stuff together — like build your own terminal!

Gig Driver Profit Checker — real delivery profit in minutes

A working mobile-friendly web app built by the Meta Muse personal agent from a real courier's detailed requirements. It compares DoorDash/Uber Eats delivery offers after total miles (including empty return), waiting time, all-in vehicle costs and tolls. The surprising demo: a $9 offer can yield $19.08 net per hour while a $20 offer only yields $16.09 under stated assumptions. Muse created the standalone offline HTML and logic tests (49/49 self-reported); I downloaded it, independently verified actual browser inputs/outputs, published the source and proof screenshot to GitHub, and deployed a no-signup live demo. Live app: https://boyhoangxattpt2-blip.github.io/gig-driver-profit-checker/ . GitHub README includes exact math, source code, build story, and reproducible prompt.

    Zouroboros Workshop

Muse is your personal assistant. Zouroboros Workshop is the workshop behind it. Workshop is an MCP service that runs on a private, single-tenant VPS provisioned for each customer. From a normal Muse conversation, a user can dispatch real software work to a coordinated team of seven AI coding executors — Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, OpenCode, Kimi, Hermes, and Pi — routed by health and capability, with automatic fallback when one executor is unavailable. Three things make it different from a single-vendor hosted builder. First, it runs on the subscriptions the user already pays for: there are no Workshop model credits and no second meter. Second, its memory is shared across every executor and survives across sessions, so a decision recorded by one tool is retrieved by another in a later Muse conversation — memory that compounds instead of resetting. Third, work is verified before it is delivered: builds run through a factory lane with deterministic review, and swarm results return with per-task evidence, not just an agent's claim that it is done. The customer-facing promise is simple: turn your existing AI tools into a workshop that delivers tested, reviewed work — a finished pull request, not a wall of code in chat.

    Self-Healing Agent VM

A self-healing watchdog pattern for AI agent VMs: byte-exact restore caches in persistent storage, sentinel probes, no-clobber atomic restores, and verified heals. When the VM's root filesystem is rebuilt with pieces missing (Python stdlib, timezone data, Node), the watchdog restores them in minutes and reports only repairs and failures. Includes an AGENTS.md so any agent can set it up.

burner: a spare Android phone for Muse

burner gives Muse a real Android phone you set aside for it. Muse uses the apps on it the way you would: it opens them, taps, types, scrolls and sends you screenshots, so it can use apps that have no website or API it can reach, like marketplaces and shopping apps. It stops and asks before anything you can't undo (sending, posting, buying), and it never signs in for you. Setup is one message to Muse: "Set up burner for me. Read the guide at https://useburner.si/skill.md and do everything in it." Muse then walks you through about 10 minutes of taps on the phone. Needs a spare Android phone (Android 11 or newer). Free and open source (MIT).

Got Muse logged in to my medical provider’s portal, he pulled the itemized bills, and questioned every line. So far he’s found several times I’d been double billed, asked for some discounts and has saved me over $4,000. If your moat is bureaucracy, you’re cooked.
