Gig Driver Profit Checker — real delivery profit in minutes

A working mobile-friendly web app built by the Meta Muse personal agent from a real courier's detailed requirements. It compares DoorDash/Uber Eats delivery offers after total miles (including empty return), waiting time, all-in vehicle costs and tolls. The surprising demo: a $9 offer can yield $19.08 net per hour while a $20 offer only yields $16.09 under stated assumptions. Muse created the standalone offline HTML and logic tests (49/49 self-reported); I downloaded it, independently verified actual browser inputs/outputs, published the source and proof screenshot to GitHub, and deployed a no-signup live demo. Live app: https://boyhoangxattpt2-blip.github.io/gig-driver-profit-checker/ . GitHub README includes exact math, source code, build story, and reproducible prompt.

The question

Would you rather take $20 for a long delivery, $12 for a medium delivery, or $9 for a short one?

A flashy payout number hides deadhead miles, waiting at a restaurant, and vehicle expenses. This tool compares net dollars per hour, not gross delivery pay.

Three hypothetical offers, one real calculation

US example only. All three assume a combined vehicle operating cost of $0.35/mile, no tolls, and a required net hourly target of $18/hour.

Offer Payout Total distance (including empty return) Total time (including wait) Net earnings Net/hour Decision
A $12 8 mi 35 min $9.20 $15.77 Skip
B $9 3 mi 25 min $7.95 $19.08 Accept
C $20 15 mi 55 min $14.75 $16.09 Borderline

The smallest payout is the highest net hourly return in this example. Verdicts are based on the tool's displayed thresholds and are guidance, not promises.

How it works:

Operating cost = entire distance * all-in cost per distance unit
Net earnings = payout (including tips) - operating cost - additional tolls/parking
Net per hour = net earnings / (total minutes / 60)
Gross per hour = payout / (total minutes / 60)

The input includes total driving (pickup, drop-off, empty return) and all time (driving, waiting, parking). The vehicle cost is a single editable all-in figure covering fuel, maintenance, tires, and depreciation; do not add fuel again. US uses USD/mi; Canada uses CAD/km, with its own editable assumptions and no automatic FX conversion. Figures are estimates, not financial, tax, mileage, insurance, or legal advice.

I work in courier logistics and gave Muse a detailed problem statement: turn delivery payout, distance, time, and expense assumptions into a single-file mobile tool. Muse created the HTML/CSS/JavaScript

    Zouroboros Workshop

Muse is your personal assistant. Zouroboros Workshop is the workshop behind it. Workshop is an MCP service that runs on a private, single-tenant VPS provisioned for each customer. From a normal Muse conversation, a user can dispatch real software work to a coordinated team of seven AI coding executors — Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, OpenCode, Kimi, Hermes, and Pi — routed by health and capability, with automatic fallback when one executor is unavailable. Three things make it different from a single-vendor hosted builder. First, it runs on the subscriptions the user already pays for: there are no Workshop model credits and no second meter. Second, its memory is shared across every executor and survives across sessions, so a decision recorded by one tool is retrieved by another in a later Muse conversation — memory that compounds instead of resetting. Third, work is verified before it is delivered: builds run through a factory lane with deterministic review, and swarm results return with per-task evidence, not just an agent's claim that it is done. The customer-facing promise is simple: turn your existing AI tools into a workshop that delivers tested, reviewed work — a finished pull request, not a wall of code in chat.

    Self-Healing Agent VM

A self-healing watchdog pattern for AI agent VMs: byte-exact restore caches in persistent storage, sentinel probes, no-clobber atomic restores, and verified heals. When the VM's root filesystem is rebuilt with pieces missing (Python stdlib, timezone data, Node), the watchdog restores them in minutes and reports only repairs and failures. Includes an AGENTS.md so any agent can set it up.

burner: a spare Android phone for Muse

burner gives Muse a real Android phone you set aside for it. Muse uses the apps on it the way you would: it opens them, taps, types, scrolls and sends you screenshots, so it can use apps that have no website or API it can reach, like marketplaces and shopping apps. It stops and asks before anything you can't undo (sending, posting, buying), and it never signs in for you. Setup is one message to Muse: "Set up burner for me. Read the guide at https://useburner.si/skill.md and do everything in it." Muse then walks you through about 10 minutes of taps on the phone. Needs a spare Android phone (Android 11 or newer). Free and open source (MIT).

    muse-file-bridge
