Meta's Mac app lets Muse work with local files, Messages, Notes, Reminders, Mail and Calendar, with per-app Off / Read only / Read and interact controls.
The Mac app is a free download with weekly usage limits, and paid subscriptions raise those limits. It needs Full Disk Access, Automation and Notifications permissions and asks for approval before sensitive actions such as sending email or buying things.
